The Introduction of a Team
Many have asked me about what started this site, or why I continue running it. Though some are content with no answer at all, enough people drilled me for information that I knew this page would be helpful. So the story begins...

During the summer of 2002 I made the choice of taking an already existing website to a new level. A domain was registered and a new start was necessary. CrazyKent.com was born. Random ideas were running rampant as the site lacked any direction. For the most part, anything that I did that may have been amusing to others had a pretty good shot at appearing online. Desperate for a simple plan to call my own, ideas were in the air. While at King's Island, an amusement park near Cincinnati, the idea came to me.

This idea would be able to do several things that I had been looking for a way to accomplish. Most importantly, I had found a way to make people smile and give people who don't know me a reason to visit my site. At the same time, I've found a way to show that anyone who has an idea, a goal, and the motivation to acheive success, no matter how ridiculous the plan, it can be done!

September 1st, 2002. After trying out several different models, a garbage can was chosen. Though the start was a slow and gradual process, the future seemed to be a bright place. Only a two cities were visited by myself and the can during the year's end, but I was proud. The first two photosets created shots in Cleveland, OH, and Charleston, WV. Phasing out all others projects that this site once ran, the Garbage Can Adventures had become the sole direction of CrazyKent.com. I don't know when it will end, but I do know that it must continue.

Kent Seaver!
